We offer a diverse range of both common and unique professions to ensure that everyone can find a role that suits their character and contributes meaningfully to the community, each profession plays an essential part in shaping the civilized environment.

A standout feature is the Department of Commerce, which allows you to engage in the entire business acquisition process in character. You can negotiate contracts, and manage operations, all within the framework of immersive roleplay. Additionally, one can choose to work for the Department of Commerce itself, taking on the important role of reviewing and approving business applications, helping to regulate and grow the economy from within.

Every profession on the server is thoughtfully designed to be a vital addition to the overall experience and the economy. Your role will always have a purpose. We’ve carefully structured the system to ensure that businesses remain profitable over time, rather than becoming obsolete once players acquire their initial gear. This long-term approach encourages continuous trade, interaction, and growth, keeping the economy lively and rewarding for everyone involved.

Blacksmith

Forges weapon kits for gunsmiths, some furniture for home owners, horse shoes for Horse Trainers and Breeders, and certain iron parts other businesses make use of to craft their items.

Carpenter

Crafts gun handles for the gunsmith, builds furniture, can repair and sell wagons as well as an assortion of high quality wooden boards for other professions to use.

Butcher, Baker & Brewer

Niche professions in the food making, prepare special ingredients like batter, minced meat or high quality whiskey to either sell to Saloon and General Store Owners, as well as having their very own foods to sell.

Saloon & General Store Owner

While the General Store owner will mainly offer snacks and buy product from other professions to conveniently offer it right in town, the Saloon Owner is the main Source of high quality filling meals.

The Department of Commerce plays a vital role in regulating and fostering Northstar’s economy. Trusted individuals can join the department and work closely with the mayor to review business applications, ensuring new ventures align with the town’s needs and regulations.

These officials also negotiate contracts, mediate business disputes, and oversee the health of local enterprises. In cases where a business has been inactive for an extended period, they have the authority to foreclose and reallocate resources to maintain a thriving and dynamic economy.

Train Conductor

As a train conductor, you will manage your own train and schedule, help your passengers travel around the frontier safely, and delivery a variety of resources from one town to the other.

Native Crafts

Native characters have the freedom to live and thrive outside of the towns, embracing a life rooted in tradition, community, and the natural world. For those who choose this path, there are numerous roles within the tribe that mirror the essential professions of the settlers, ensuring the tribe remains self-sufficient and balanced.

Craftsman

The counterpart to the settlers‘ gunsmith, the Craftsman specializes in crafting traditional weapons such as tomahawks, improved bows, and other non-firearm tools unique to native life. In addition to weapons, Craftsmen can create decorative items like custom quivers and other weapon accessories, offering both functionality and personal expression for tribe members.

Native Cook

For those who wish to serve their community without working in a saloon, the Native Cook provides nourishment using traditional recipes passed down through generations. This role allows your character to support the tribe by preparing meals that sustain and strengthen its members, honoring the culinary heritage of their people.

Shaman

The Shaman serves as the tribe’s spiritual leader, offering guidance and wisdom in times of need. Beyond their spiritual duties, Shamans craft ceremonial accessories, tipis, and other decorative items that enrich the cultural and spiritual life of the tribe, making them a cornerstone of both tradition and identity.

Medicineman

The Medicine Man is the tribal counterpart to the settlers‘ doctor, using traditional healing methods to mend wounds and maintain the health of the tribe. Relying on natural remedies, herbs, and ancient practices, the Medicine Man ensures the physical well-being of their people, keeping the tribe strong and resilient in the face of adversity.
